i can be a bull in a china shop when i do the things which i am passionate about.
i may not care about others' perceptions of me but i guess abiding by this time-honoured rule, "more haste, less speed", is always a good idea, despite how time-pressed i may feel and how efficient i wanna be
ghafar, my current GP rep, once mentioned, "mr heng, i think you try too hard".
yet another sharp and succinct comment by someone who has only known me for 5 months. and perhaps, i am guilty as charged and need to learn how to let go, even when i stubbornly think that i am doing a good job. haha.
but regardless of the number of people i might have knowingly or unwittingly offended during Term 2, i am really proud of the choices i made. yes, maybe i did make mistakes but it gives me great solace to know that i can hold my head up high because i tried my best and felt good about my decisions despite the "shockwave repercussions" they might have generated.
in front of the yjcambodia team
in front of 103 and 134
in front of my head of PW
in front of the English department
Saying bye-bye to my yjcambodia was a bittersweet closure to Term 2. and i will seek to do better
